Katal Shilpa Kolambe
Katal Shilpa Kolambe refers to the prehistoric rock carvings (petroglyphs) discovered in Kolambe village, Ratnagiri district, Maharashtra. These ancient carvings, found on laterite plateaus, depict animals, human-like figures, and geometric designs, similar to other "Katal Shilpa" sites in the Konkan region. Believed to be thousands of years old, they offer valuable insights into the lives and environment of prehistoric inhabitants of the area and are now under archaeological protection.
