How to Reach Ganpatipule

There are two main options:

  1. By Train:
    • Trains are available from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (Mumbai), Dadar, Panvel, Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Vasai, Thane, and Kalyan to Ratnagiri.
    • Travel time by train is approximately 5 to 6 hours.

  2. By Road:
    • You can travel by private vehicle or bus.
    • The road distance is approximately 322 kilometers, and the journey takes about 9-10 hours including breaks for tea and meals.
    • 80% of the road is in good condition.

Getting to Ganpatipule from Ratnagiri

After reaching Ratnagiri station, you can take a government bus, rickshaw, or private vehicle to Ganpatipule.

  • Government bus is the cheapest option (approximately INR 40-50).

  • Prasad Timings: 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and 7:15 PM to 7:45 PM.
  • Parking is available at the temple but can be crowded.
  • The temple is approximately 1-2 kilometers from Bhakta Niwas.
